Great scan tool with a very good build quality, wide vehicle coverage, better hardware compared to competitors and a lot of service functions. Yes, this scan tool is bi-directional (please make sure to install the latest updates) which supports service functions as well as active tests. My only complains are that it does not have Bluetooth if I need to pair it with an Autel wireless VCI in the future and the lack of a speaker.
To anyone who is deeply frustrated with a Nissan vehicle which uses the non-OBD II Nissan DDL protocol (14/16 pin connector), this scan tool works great which I have tested on my Nissan March K11 year 2000. However, the service functions did not work for my car which the seller quickly and clearly informed me before buying.
Still, I purchased this unit since it’s a very valuable piece of equipment which I know will be a great investment. Extremely happy with the purchase and I recommend everyone to buy without fear.
